Anniversary donation goes to kiwanis

Ten years of the rewe store in lichtenfelser strabe. This was reason enough for owner jutta hollweg to celebrate with daily changing actions for and with her customers and her team for a whole week. The employees made a special effort by assembling a ten-meter-long tin cake counter: 35 fruit, cheese, poppy seed, egg liqueur and fanta cakes – to name just a small selection – found their buyers within a short time for a small donation. The crowning finale was a delicacy buffet.

The ladies of the kiwanis club were eager to help with the raffle and bake sale. Jutta hollweg honored this commitment and now presented the resulting proceeds of 1550 euros to the kulmbach service club. "I like doing this because I know that this money will be put to good use by you", she said.

They show that the kiwanians are committed to the children and young people in and around kulmbach. "We are very grateful and do not simply accept it, because this noble gesture is not a matter of course", anja gimpel-henning was pleased. "The money will be used for our current projects, for example, to provide hot school lunches for children whose parents cannot afford them."

Planning for the next kiwanis project is already underway: on 12. October will take place at 8 pm at "dynamic commerce gmbh" (von-linde-strabe 11) a concert will take place. Dieter hubner
